SQUID App, an application to keep us informed about Technology

In a world as open as today's, information control is essential. It is so important that without it, we can go crazy or deceived by everything we receive throughout the day. A control of this allows us to know or learn about projects of Hardware Libre interesting, the latest kitchen recipes that we like or simply knowing if the news is true or not.

That is why the best solution to this is use an online news or publishing tool. Feedly is normally recommended, but there are other alternatives just as good and cheaper than Feedly itself. The most striking of them all is called SQUID App.SQUID App allows us to select a country and the topics in which we are interested, once this is selected, the app will show us all the news that has been published in that country. Among the interests that SQUID App gives us to choose from, we can choose the topic of Technology, which will allow us to be informed not only of the advances in Hardware Libre but also technological projects of another nature, that is, private projects. But, unlike other apps, SQUID App allows us to choose the country without being in it, so we can be informed of what happens in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, etc ...

SQUID App will allow us to know news from other countries, without any hindrance

The news app also tells us allows blocking news sources or media, share news and of course, take notes, underlines and notes that we can send to our friends or contacts. All for free, something that other apps can do but paying for a subscription service.

In this case, SQUID App will allow us know news that happens related to Technology, new projects and even devices that try to supply the services of free elements such as 3D printing, Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

Personally, I think that a news application that collects the most important news or publications on the technological scene is something good, necessary and important, not only to avoid "infoxication" (abundance of information) but also to see new approaches when creating a Proyect of Hardware Libre.
