Parrot has just released an official press release announcing the arrival on the market of two new models of high-tech minidrones. Specifically, they tell us about the new Swing, a model designed to be able to perform vertical take-off and landing tasks, and the Mambo, a system capable of catching objects, launching projectiles and illuminating dark areas.
Going into a little more detail, the new Parrot Swing stand out for having a hybrid system with which it manages to take off vertically through the use of four rotors. Once this work has been done and it has stabilized horizontally, it flies like an airplane at speeds that can reach 30 km / h. In terms of technical characteristics, according to Parrot we are talking about a model that weighs only 73 grams offering an autonomy of 8 minutes. The price, with the Parrot Flypad controller, is 139 euros.
Parrot presents the new Swing and Mambo minidrones
As to Parrot Mambo, we are talking about a drone of only 63 grams designed to perform all kinds of recreational activities thanks to the large number of functions it can perform. The autonomy of this drone is nine minutes and, according to Parrot, among the options it can be used to practice shooting with the built-in cannon, move objects up to four grams thanks to its hook or illuminate dark areas thanks to the LEDs built-in directional and variable intensity. The price of this model is 119 euros.
As a final detail, just tell you that both models can be controlled through the mobile application FreeFlight Mini, a specific app that allows you to adapt the flight parameters and facilitate it, as well as allowing you to customize the controls of the Parrot Flypad, the high-precision controller for these minidrones. Thanks to this remote control you can fly with a stable connection up to 60 meters away.
