The Congressional Development Commission pressures AESA to create a regulation for drones

TO THAT

The drone market is one of the most projected in Spain and in practically the whole world in general, due to this since the Commission for the Promotion of the Congress of Deputies the TO THAT, Spanish Aviation Safety Agency, to develop the new legislation that regulates this type of unmanned aircraft since, as you are sure, the current regulations are provisional.

One of the points where more emphasis has been made by the Development Commission is on the great need that AESA has today in terms of means, both human and technical, so that you can carry out this regulation which, in the end, means that the use of drones is finally regulated in such a way that, in turn, it is possible to ensure the privacy of them and the safety of working with these devices.

La Commission for the Promotion of the Congress of Deputies asks for more resources so that AESA can develop the new regulations governing the use of drones in Spain.

In addition to this, it is intended to achieve that Spain actively participate in the decisions taken regarding the drone sector within the European Union, a very important step if we take into account that, today, there are more than 1.300 registered drone operators in our country, dedicated to many different tasks such as aerial filming and agricultural and surveying work.

As a reminder, before saying goodbye, tell you that The current regulations were promoted in 2014 by the Government to replace the old air navigation law dating from 1960. In this, urgent measures were approved to promote competitiveness, growth and efficiency in the sector, improving, incidentally, safety, avoiding the misuse of unmanned aircraft.
