Titan 2, the new 3D printer from Kudo3D

Titan 2

We have known about the Titan 3D printer a long time ago, a printer that handles 3D SLA printing technology and which became known through a crwodfunding campaign. Despite the fact that Kudo3D's Tita printer has not been very popular, the company has created a second improved version that undoubtedly makes Titan 2 is one of the best 3D printers on the market.

Leaving aside the fact that it uses SLA technology, the new Titan 2 is capable of printing via Wi-Fi connection and via the web. This is something that many 3D printers already have, but in this case it is special, since via the web it allows us to print from any platform and without having to have the 3D printer nearby, in the case of printing via Wi-Fi, in Titan 2 it allows that this connection can be shared by more printers with what we can do the printing a model on different Titan 2 printers, which is interesting to create prototypes or parts in series.

The new Titan 2 uses Raspberry Pi at its base

Surprisingly, the heart of Titan 2 is a Raspberry Pi, something that makes it compatible with any type of software and even with much of the Hardware Libre that exists. On the other hand, Titan 2 uses a technology that is awaiting patenting, a technology known as Passive Self-peeling that will allow greater speed when printing, something that if real and patented could be a great advance for the world of 3D Printing.

Yet surprisingly, Titan 2 won't be the same price as a Prusa or Raspberry Pi, the price will be U.S. dollar 3.400, but for a season and for launch reasons, Titan 2 will be discounted by $ 200. Something much more expensive than the mentioned models, although if we really want to use it for production, the price may pay off quickly. What do you think?
