A few days ago we have attended and we live a true pokemania, a fever that the famous video game Pokémon Go has unleashed. A mobile video game that is causing not only that mobile phones use more data but also that they use more battery than normal. This can be easily solved thanks to this Pokédex-shaped housing that will allow us to have more battery.
A pokédex is a gadget that stores all the data of the pokémon. It is a gadget that is always given to the player in any Pokémon video game. And the user npoole has managed to create a 3D case using 3D printing for the Samsung Galaxy S4 that transforms the mobile into this Pokémon device.
Pokémon Go can now be used in this curious Pokédex and with our smartphone
But the most curious thing is that npoole has introduced interesting elements in this 3D case like an egg for an auxiliary battery that will make the mobile have more autonomy or at least the same if we are really going to play Pokémon Go.
In this case, the Pokédex not only has LED lights that will mimic the operation of the Pokédex but also will have a 2.600 mAh auxiliary battery, a battery more than enough for a terminal like the Samsung Galaxy S4 but that could be replaced by another device if we want to adapt our Pokédex to other mobiles.
The great thing about this case is its freedom. Anyone can download the files of this case and print them on their 3D printer as well as customize it to our liking and even adapt it to other mobiles other than the Samsung Galaxy S4. Npoole, the creator of this design, has created an entry in Sparkfun's blog where he tells us how to make our Pokédex step by step and if we prefer, we can download the files directly via the GitHub repository of user.
