The German company specialized in the design and manufacture of 3D printers Trumpf will take advantage of your presence at the fair Formext which will be held in just a few days to officially present its new industrial metal 3D printers. Among the models that are expected to attract the attention of those present we find the TruPrint 3000, a model equipped with a 500 W laser capable of a manufacturing volume of up to 300 mm in diameter with 400 mm in height.
According to his own statements Peter leibinger, Director of Trumpf Laser-und Systemtechnik GmbH:
With the TruPrint 3000, we are focusing on industrializing additive manufacturing as part of the production chain. This means that we consider not only the manufacturing technology itself, but also all the necessary steps before and after 3D printing.
Thanks to this presentation Trumpf already has two models with LMD technology and two with LMF technology.
In addition to this novel model that works through the use of LMF technology, a system based on metal powder laser fusion arranged in a tray, the Trumpf firm also has in its catalog of bulls models that work with LMD technology that, unlike the previous one, the metallic powder is projected through a nozzle and fused with a laser at the exit of it.
As the company announces, thanks to the fact that they offer different printers that work with these two technologies in their catalog of models, they are able to offer the customer the most appropriate solution to their needs and requirements. At the moment Trumpf offers two models with LMF technology, the TruPrint 1000 and the new TruPrint 3000 while, equipped with LMD technology, we find the TruLaser Cell 3000 and the TruLaser Cell 7000.
