Video: This is how the Israeli army sniper drone works

israeli army

For a few months we have known that the israeli army has a program underway through which a series of drones are being developed that, in the not too distant future, should take part in all kinds of combat thanks to the fact that may be equipped with grenade launchers or assault weapons.

The person responsible for this development is none other than the well-known Duke robotics, a company that has been working on the development of this new type of weapon for a long time. As a detail, tell you that already in 2015 they managed to get members of the Israeli army to shoot down a fighter with one of their drones, unfortunately the recoil of the weapon was too strong, which could lead it to crash, and its battery lasted just over five minutes .

Duke Robotics is the company behind the manufacture and design of TIKAD

After more than two years of hard work in research and development, it seems that Duke Robotics has managed to evolve the project to the point of being able to develop a perfectly usable weapon. This new weapon has been dubbed TIKAD and in the video that is located just above these lines you can see exactly how it works. Personally, it is shocking how he is able to hit a target the size of a balloon from a long distance.

As has been commented from Duke Robotics itself, apparently TIKAD has enough capacity to be able to shoot different types of weapons such as sniper rifles, assault weapons and even grenade launchers. According to the company in charge of its development, apparently using a drone of this class in a battle can save many lives on both sides since, compared to current military drones, which can only launch missiles, which in turn affect civilians in its explosions, it is capable of killing terrorists and lone wolves that it hides among the population.
