Wacom, a technology company specializing in the design and manufacture of graphic tablets, has just launched what they call themselves in an official statement, as the first product created by the firm specially designed for 3D printing and design enthusiasts. We are talking specifically about Intuo 3D, a fairly affordable solution that allows you to create and model 3D objects for 3D printing.

As the company itself comments, from Wacom they have noticed the growing popularity of 3D printing in the personal field, and for that reason they have not wanted to miss the opportunity to put all their knowledge into practice in the world of graphic tablets and create a tool that significantly improves the creative process of designersespecially from beginners.

Regarding the characteristics that can make this tablet an ideal complement, it should be noted that it is sensitive to pressure, which in turn gives a greater sense of realism to the 'sculpt'digitally. Within the package that we will receive when acquiring this graphic tablet, we will find elements such as the Intuos 3D tablet itself, Pixologic's 3D design software, ZBrushCore, a version based on the already more than popular ZBrush, as well as integration with Sketchfab and Shapeways.

Once the design is done, you can upload to Shapeways, the popular 3D on-demand printing service, plus Sketchfab, a widely used 3D design publishing platform among designers. If you are interested in getting one of the tablets created by Walcom, tell you that the expected launch price will be around 200 dollars and is expected to be available from October.
