Witbox Go !, the new BQ printer that is used with the mobile

Witbox Go! of the Spanish company BQ.

Today, the Spanish company BQ has announced two new smartphone models and a new printer model. This new 3D printer is called Witbox Go !. A printer that is within its Witbox family but with a lower price and affordable for everyone.

However, the strengths of Witbox Go! are not the price or the low cost of its components but its compatibility with Android or its built-in communications that offer better performance. And it goes without saying, that unlike other models, Witbox Go! it is one of the safest 3D printers out there.

Firstly, the Witbox Go! has a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor to run, something that any 3D printer does not have. This allows Android, the mobile operating system, to be present in this printer model. BQ's new 3D printer too has wireless, bluetooth and NFC support, which allows us to connect any device to the 3D printer and print through it. Needless to say, having Android, Witbox Go! it will work perfectly with any Android smartphone.

BQ has also prepared special features for this release. The first one is the inclusion of NFC tags to the reels, which will allow the 3D printer to recognize any type of official filament, adjusting the parameters to the material and saving it.

Witbox Go! It is the first 3D printer with Android and updates via OTA

The software has also been renewed this time. BQ has released Zetup, a new software that will work with WitBox Go!. This new software is optimized and simplified so that any user, whether novice or expert, can use any 3D printer. Old 3D printing programs will also be compatible with this 3D printer.

Security is another of the strengths of Witbox Go! This printer model takes into account the pressure of the bed and other elements to work, in such a way that if we assemble it incorrectly or modify the bed, the BQ printer will not work. Once printing is finished, the filament presence sensor stops it if the filament has run out and extruder sensor pauses if hotend clogs.

The measurements of the new 3D printer are 30 x 25 x 48 cm, it has a weight of 5 kg and a print volume of 14 x 14 x 14 cm. Possibly the latter is the great downside of this printer model, as large parts are becoming scarcer. In a few days it will go on sale this new printer at the price of 590,90 euros, a low price typical of a printer like the Prusa but with the improvements and technology of a proprietary printer.

In any case, like many other models, the true valuation of the BQ Witbox Go! It will not be possible until we test it, but all the information indicates that it will be a very good 3D printer model Do not you think?
