Xiaomi is already the third company in the world ranking of drone manufacturers

Xiaomi

Drone has presented, as usual, its annual report on the 20 most powerful companies in the world of unmanned aircraft, a report where despite the fact that there are no notable changes in the first two positions, they continue to dominate with an iron fist DJI y Parrot, the truth is that there is a striking change in the third place since Xiaomi has managed to unseat nothing less than 3D Robotics which now happens to be the sixth company in this ranking.

Going into a little more detail, I personally have to admit that several details in this report have caught my attention. One of them is to see how DJI, despite being clearly dominant, lose up to ten percentage points with respect to the last study published while Parrot loses up to twelve percentage points. In third place we find Xiaomi that in the previous report literally did not appear while 3D Robotics, as we mentioned in the upper lines, goes to sixth place.

Dronii spreads good news and bad news alike in its latest annual report on the world's 20 most powerful unmanned aircraft companies.

As a detail, tell you that it is not only striking the case of Xiaomi that if it is not on the list it enters third place, but that in fourth and fifth place we find Hover y AeroVironment, two companies that did not appear in the previous study either. In the case of Hover, it rose to fourth place thanks to the great reception that its Hover Camera device has had, while AeroVironment rose to fifth place thanks to its solutions for precision agriculture, the energy sector and other fields.

Everything in this report was not going to be good news since to the case of 3D Robotics we have to join those of sensefly y PrecisionHawk that if in the previous report they were ranked 9 and 12 respectively, now they fall to occupy positions 18 and 19 of this classification, a setback that has surprised many since the presentation of the new eBee SQ platform by senseFly or the movements made by PrecisionHawk in the market presaged that they would maintain their positions in the list.
