Bullets of different caliber are already manufactured by 3D printing

printed bullets

From Russia It has just been announced that they already have at their disposal the necessary technology to start manufacturing bullets for their weapons using 3D printing technology. Specifically, this new type of bullet has been analyzed by both the Advanced Research Fund, FPI, as per the TochMash where it has passed all the tests that have been carried out.

As reported by the Russkoe Oruzhie portal, in Spanish something like Russian Armament, apparently this new generation of bullets was created using selective laser fusion technology and it has each and every one of the characteristics that make bullets manufactured by conventional techniques so special. Thanks to this, it has just been confirmed that from now on, bullets can be manufactured using additive technologies on an industrial scale.

Russia manages to manufacture bullets by 3D printing equal in characteristics to those traditionally used.

As reported by the Advanced Research Fund, it is expected that thanks to the development and design of this new manufacturing methodology for ammunition, all kinds of equipment with functional characteristics wings can be manufactured. Undoubtedly, we are facing a new step towards that objective that the Russian authorities have set in their search for modernize 70% of its military equipment by 2020.

As a final detail, tell you that not only are working on improving the manufacturing techniques of their weapons, but there are also teams of scientists and researchers developing processes to integrate into the Russian army and adapt all assets to robotic systems y combat robots.
