Zowi, the BQ robot is already manufactured in Spain

Zowi

Although there are Spanish or European projects, the truth is that electronics and large chips are still made in Asia. But it seems that little by little companies are trying to do everything in their country of origin. One such company is BQ, a Spanish company that sells and distributes technology created in Spain but produced in another country.

Recently BQ has produced its Zowi robot in Spain, which means that this robot will be totally Spanish, since no, unlike many other products from other brands. Zowi will be sold this Christmas and for this BQ has already produced more than 10.000 units.

The Zowi robot will already have the "made in Spain" brand inside

Zowi is a robot advertised by Clan TV and created by BQ who try bring the Hardware Libre and electronics for the little ones in the house although frankly, I think Zowi is for all audiences. Thus, not only can you play with the robot but we can also create our own projects with this hardware, expanding it with new functions or even playing with 3D printing and its housings.

The robot Zowi is not the only Spanish that BQ offers its clients. In addition to this, BQ in recent months is producing its 3D printers in Spain, something interesting because currently its Prusa models are the cheapest printers that we can find in the Spanish 3D printing market, although we know that there are cheaper models than the Prusa i3 Hephestos.

In any case, this news is appreciated because thus the Hardware Libre not only does it reach the Spaniards and their little ones first, but it also is creating jobs, something that in the case of proprietary Hardware does not happen as it should in Spain.
