ZUM SCAN plate

Bq continues in its effort to publish and release all the hardware and software that it has, or at least all that it can. If not long ago you told us about the liberation of Ciclop, now it is the turn of ZUM SCAN a board based on Arduino projects that will never communicate Arduino One or Freaduino board with servo motors, laser modules or LDR sensorsIt depends on what we need, for its manipulation through software.

Thus, ZUM SCAN is useful and will be essential to create a Ciclop scanner or it will also help us in the creation of a 3D printer, although the results are certainly not and will not be the same as those obtained with the current electronic printers. The ZUM SCAN can control up to two stepper motors, four laser modules and two LDR sensors.

The ZUM SCAN will have a reset button and fuses to protect our designs

Unlike some Arduino boards or other models based on the same designs, the ZUM SCAN has a jack, a reset button and several fuses to protect the motors.

As with the latest released pieces, Bq has created a repository at github where we will not only find plate designs but also all the necessary documentation to build a ZUM SCAN plate is even create our own designs from this documentation.

With this release, as well as with the release of Ciclop, we can already say that there is no impediment to be able to build our own object scanner or to create and alter our own Object scanner, something useful to improve our impressions and even to create our own replicas of objects.

Of course, it is very good that all this documentation is released, but if we really do not want to modify anything, the distribution and sale of this board may also be interesting, something that at the moment BQ does not do and it would be good if it did at least for the less handyman who want to build a Ciclop scanner.

All this is fine. But it is not yet sold anywhere. Why are things announced months before they come out?
I am a distributor and I have been able to buy what I believe is the first zum bt-328 that bq has put on sale for distributors. In order to build the cyclops and the zum scan board they do not have it, and at the moment they have not thought of putting it on sale as distributors.
