Perhaps that is why companies in the sector are working on creating similar Raspberry Pi motherboards. The manufacturer Gigabyte has recently announced the launch of a single board motherboard which will have the power of current motherboards but with the size of the Raspberry Pi board.

The new board is called the Gigabyte GA-SBCAP3350, a board with an Intel Celeron processor; dimensions of 146mm x 102mm; one hdmi port, two ethernet ports, two USB 3 ports, a headphone jack, a GPIO port, a SATA connector and several connectors for USB 2.0 ports.
