ArduECU, Arduino getting closer to the car

ArduECU

The automotive world is increasingly getting closer to new technologies and in many cases thanks to Hardware Libre. But it is true that there are certain elements such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi that have a hard time reaching the world of vehicles. Maybe that's why I was born ArduECU.

ArduECU is an interesting project that equips our Arduino board with everything necessary to withstand shocks or inclement weather. This means that we can place our Arduino board in any situation, even underwater and not be affected in the least, even being able to work perfectly.

ArduECU not only has a rugged cover but also It is IP69 certified for shock and water resistance. All this makes the device perfect to install in devices such as cars, motorcycles or trucks. Places where shock or rain will not adversely affect the device.

ArduECU allows us to use elements such as GPS with an Arduino board

ArduECU has three models, models that can be used depending on the situations for which we want to use it. The basic version for simple projects; a version for vehicles such as buses or industrial applications and a third version with all the certifications that provides maximum resistance to water and impacts.

The three versions have not only the cover and a plate Arduino UNO but they have an expansion board to create their own projects, a wifi module, a bluetooth module, a slot for sim cards, GPS, a battery and connections to connect ArduECU to our computer and be able to connect it to the Arduino IDE.

This device is interesting because it not only allows us to carry a plate Arduino UNO anywhere, but it will also make the Hardware Libre reaches the automotive world, giving us new features for little money, for the money that a plate costs us Arduino UNO.
