Meat & Livestock shows us its meat 3D printer

Meat & Livestock

Meat & Livestock is a new startup based in Australia that has just made the news after the amazing presentation that its leaders just made at the 3D Food Printing Conference Asia-Pacific Edition where they have presented to the public there present a meat 3D printer capable of producing edible protein from meat scraps or ground meat.

Attending to those responsible for this creation, apparently the printer uses what they have called 'meat ink'. In turn, they emphatically affirm that the use of offal and meat trimmings, thanks to the technology that they propose through Meat & Livestock, it has great possibilities, especially to make better use of and revalue meat by-products even more.

Meat & Livestock surprise with their 'curious' 3D meat printer.

Apparently, the printer that the guys from Meat & Livestock have brought to the event has been manufactured by the Dutch company byFlow, a company that, in turn, is specialized in food 3D printing. In order to develop this project, byFlow have used a liquefied mixture of offal and minced meat.

The truth, as confirmed by experts within the meat sector, is that it seems quite difficult that 3D printing can achieve the competition to traditional production methods Although, as they advocate for this, the truth is that everyone believes that this technology can bring many new features when it comes to offering personalized, different or directly focused products on a sector within the very specific market.
