Microsoft will create artificial intelligence with the help of Raspberry PI

Currently many companies are developing and creating their own software that function as artificial intelligences, but really these intelligences are far from being ideal. They all need to connect to the Internet to be the serversWith more powerful hardware, those who carry out the tasks and process elements, we go those who "think" and then send it to our computers or mobiles.

This is being a limitation for many projects, but Microsoft is trying to overcome this limitation. Several developers from Microsoft and other companies are participating in a project called Intelligence Edge, a project that seeks to have artificial intelligence inside an old mobile, tablet or laptop and does not need the Internet to work.

The special thing about this project is that at the moment it uses Raspberry Pi boards to work. Current Intelligence Edge Advances Show Us small 32-bit processors that communicate through a Raspberry Pi. These processors already perform some simple tasks that all artificial intelligence needs to do and these tasks are performed without the need for any connection to another computer. Something very interesting that shows us the potential of this project (and once again the potential of Raspberry Pi).

Unfortunately we do not have access to these microprocessors but yes we have access to the code, a code that we can find in this github repository to test it, use it or directly help in its development.

In any case, although this project does not seek to create a rival artificial intelligence for Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant, it is potentially a rival because if it communicates with Raspberry Pi, many users will use or create software from Intelligence Edge and not from the APIs of these assistants. So it seems like Microsoft and Raspberry Pi still have a lot to say Do not you think?
