Plumen presents its catalog of 3D printed lamps

From England we receive interesting information related to a new startup that is ready to revolutionize the world of interior decoration. Specifically we talk about Plumen, a company that specializes in the design of lamps and lighting and that a few days ago has surprised us with the presentation of a new range of models that you will surely like.

According to their website, it seems that Plumen has been working for months on creating a new generation of lampshades that have been manufactured using 3D printing technologies. These screens have been created together with the designer hook phanthasuporn and, apparently, its design is mainly inspired by organic shapes.

Plumen delights us with its interesting lampshades made by 3D printing

As a detail, tell you that the catalog 'Hive'is not the only one they have where 3D printing is used to improve the aesthetics and design of their lamps, but this is just a new step after the great success they reaped last year with the launch of 'Sliding', a series of lampshades created in collaboration with the Italian company Formaliz3D.

Based on the statements made by the management team of Plumen:

We are offering something that could have grown from a seed. It is something that seems so familiar yet that it would be impossible to create in any other way than with the technique of 3D printing.

Ruche is made up of repeating strips that, like leaf shapes, flow from juvenile tips to unfolded mature fins. These fins intersect each other in an impossible configuration that still… feels harmonious and natural.

Seen from above, the bulb is barely visible, but like the opening of a flower, the beauty of the bulb is gradually revealed as the eye lowers the shadow. Rays of light escape like the sun's rays through trees, while the open base allows the glow of the bulb to fully illuminate the surface below.
