Ricoh will create a new 3D printing center in Catalonia


Ricoh Spain has just announced that the company plans to invest no less than one million euros in the creation of its new 3D printing center, which today has been baptized as Ricoh Additive Manufacturing Center which, thanks to the agreement reached with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, will be located within the facilities that the latter has in the city of Barcelona.

As he commented Felip phenollosa, current director general of the CIM within the Polytechnic University of Catalonia:

This agreement with Ricoh is key to showing, in a 100% industrial and therefore real environment, which are the tools that companies have to incorporate if they want to transform their business model to the new dynamics of Industry 4.0 through 3D printing and digital fabrication in general.
